LIFE (not the board game even though that is a lot of fun.)

Okay guys.
Here is a quick rundown of my life.
Class, work, wedding planning, exercise, homework, sleep. REPEAT.

I have been a busy bee. Bu t that's okay.
A lot of exciting things are coming up soon.

1. Married in two months. *brain falls out*
2. My 21 st Birthday on the 15th.  *Road trip to Minneapolis*
3. Shooting my first wedding on MY OWN! *palms start sweating*
4. I will be finished with school on December 18th.
5. Moving to St. Paul.

WHOAH! A lot of big events coming up in life.

Speaking of Life. I really want to play now. And eat it too. :P

QUESTION:
What was the best Halloween costume you saw this year?

Oct. 31st, 2009

Sorry for the hiatus... again.

Good news. I have been working out. 5-6 days a week and eating super healthy.
It has been four weeks straight now :) yay!

And I have been more organized, so that is good. :D
I hope everyone is well. Sorry for the hiatus.
I really do love reading everyone's journals.
Hopefully I can catch up in the next coupe of days.

I'm glad that it is day lights savings. FALL BACK ! Extra Hour!

Oh yeah... WATCH THIS SHOW!

So I am trying to become more organized. Yes. Me. Organized.
It isn't going to be easy, but I need to manage my time better.

1. I JUST NEED TO.
2. I will have a lower amount of stress.
3. I want to make time for all the things I want and need to do.

For example. I work and go to school full time.
But I want to make time to exercise on a daily basis.
I also want to have time to make real meals.

SO this means dragging my lazy bum out of bed way earlier then I want to.
I will be tracking my soon to be success (haha. Trying to be optimistic).

A couple of days I broke my side view mirror off the driver's side of my car =/
I am currently holding it on with duct tape. How hick can I get? haha.
Oh well. It's a temporary fix until I have time to get it to a garage.

Classes are good, but geessshhh these days are KILLING me.
I'm so tired all the time (hopefully the exercise will help with that too.)

In the middle of Season 3 of Dexter. I love this show.
The Office starts soon! And ANTM started. Crazy short girls.

Well anyway. WISH ME LUCK!

ps-
I read everyone's (who had one) recent journal entry and commented.
XD

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Class starts tomorrow. UGH.
NO!!! SAY IT ISNT SO!

Well- the roomies and I took one last romp to Minneapolis.
It was fun. Problem. Two of us are not 21 so some times it is hard to
go places we're allowed.

Instance. We went to a concert, but my one roommate wasn't allowed in.
I was even though I'm only 20... but they thought I was 21? Which doesn't really make sense
since right above my picture on my license it says UNDER 21.
(Obviously we didn't stay and leave our roommate to stand outside. )

And then later that night we went clubbing. Also I.D.'d NO BLACK X'S on my hands.
Haha. Idk what was going on, but evidently I looked quite mature ;P

I did some shopping. MMM. I love to shop. But I am a very frugal shopper.
I'm a big fan of sales and good deals.

Now I am back home.
This is my new toothpaste. It's about the foamiest teeth cleaner I have ever used.

And my face wash that has been doing wonders for my skin. Plus it smells delicious.

This is some stuff I bought in Korea. They have pretty cheap cosmetics.
The skin masks are awesome. Then the last bottle. The bubble peeling
gets rid of dead skin on your face. It's like a sauna in a bottle.

And last. This is my freezer.

And here is what I will be watching tonight.

haha. Well cheers to my last night of freedom. <3
ps- sorry this isn't behind a cut. I know I'm a jerk.

More Korea for you! We've got Seoul! ^_^

Recommend full view :)

I guess I should explain them a little. The first image is @ Seoraksan National Park.
The second is at Sokcho Beach. The little boy was testing out the water (way too cold to swim still.)
The third is the Namsan locks. There are millions of them and what couples do is put the lock there together and throw the key over the ledge. (it's on the top of Namsan Mountain on a building.) And then after that they are never supposed to break up.
The 4th and 6th images are from O.I. Bar in the Hongik University Area (Called Hongdae) It was the coolest bar I have ever seen. Not that I've seen a lot, but I think this one will always be tops.
The 5th and 7th are of people at Cheongychen Stream (I spelled that wrong.)
Just some street photography. I love the couple picture because they look so happy.
And the little boy was so cute (and he knew it.)
The last pictures are of Boseong Green Tea Plantation near Gwangju.
It was gorgeous.

I'll post more a different day :)

Aug. 3rd, 2009

arghhhhhhhhh.

No I am not a pirate.
Okay summer is almost over. I'm looking around.... because where did it go?!
I'm really really not ready to go back to school.
I graduated in May from a Tech college so I have a two year degree.

The thing is I have no idea what I want to do anymore!
I thought..... I wanted to do corporate i.d. (logos, stationery, etc.)
But not I'm not so sure. I'm considering photography.
Maybe? Maybe not?

UGH!
Wedding planning is going good so far. It's not as stressful as I thought
it would be. It probably helps that it's an off season wedding.
Did I mention I am getting married in January.
I hope there's not a blizzard =[

So this is kind of all over the place. (Sorry.)
If you are having a crappy day go to youtube.
And search for ImprovEverywhere.

They are amazing =]

Jul. 13th, 2009

I Went to the Midnight showing :)

*Nerdy Squeals!*
Why yes I WILL be attending this movie on the 15th.

I actually ended up going to the midnight showing of the movie and here is my review.

Honestly the HP Series just keeps getting better as they go on. I didn't like the 5th movie all that much but I loved the 4th and I would have to say this is the best one yet.
David Yates. Awesome. The cinematography, tone of the movie, music, everything flows. AND on top of that all the actors have matured so much. The only one I felt gives a weak performance is Bonnie Wright. To me she just doesn't act like Ginny. However, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are really great. Also Radcliffe and surprise surprise (not) Alan Rickman.

A lot of fans are upset about the parts of the book that have been left out and the fact they added an extra scene. I didn't like the extra scene and I think they could have left the ending the way it was in the book without it feeling repetitive (they said they cut it because the 7th book ends similarly.) Yea there were parts I didn't like that they changed, BUT when it comes to taking a book and making it into a film it can never please everyone and on top of that you can't have a 6 hour movie as to include everything.

Overall I think the movie did justice for the book and on top of that was just plain and simple a very well done film. There was a lot of humor I wasn't expecting but it was nice to have something upbeat amidst the darker feel of the film.

One MAJOR LONG POST

Okay everyone this is going to be a massive post on KOREA.
So here we go!

South Korea! )South Korea! )

Jul. 2nd, 2009

I'm back.

Hey everyone I am back (to Livejournal that is.)
I arrived back in the States awhile ago, but I have been busy moving and working and all that not so fun stuff.
But also with fun stuff like hanging out with my new roomies (two really close friends!) and wedding plans.
I also helped photograph a wedding which was a lot of fun!

In a word Korea was AMAZING. I really hope I can go back some day.
I really miss it! Especially the food!

Can you blame me? :)
Well I'll add more pictures hopefully soon.
I hope everyone is doing good!

May. 11th, 2009

last post.

Well everyone this is going to be my LAST POST until about June.
So good luck with finals and everything.
=]

I'll be checking on journals when I get back from Korea!
Don't forget about me ;P

COUCHSURFING

For anyone interested in travel I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend getting a
couchsurfing account.

It is awesome! Basically you open up your home (if possible) to other travelers.
I will be couchsurfing in Korea as well.

I hosted my first couchsurfer last night!
His name was Kevin from Geneve.
He is French but he lives right on the Swiss border.
It was a lot of fun to hear his stories, because he has traveled a lot.
And to hear how different France is and what the French think of America.

So anyways. If you are looking to travel it is a great way to meet people and
it helps with $$$$$$$ too. :)

A lot of my friends were skeptical of the idea and of course worried, but
it was very safe and he was nice and polite.

Great experience. Hope you guys take the opportunity to meet others this way too!
And also it's much more secure then just letting someone off the street in your house.

*edit*
What I love about couchsurfing is the main goal behind it- to get people
connected again! Everyone is so scared of each other and worried about
being kind to one another and it shouldn't be that way!

Mother's Day

Okie Dokie.
So Momma's Day is right around the corner. T-minus 8 days.
Right? So what do you get your mom? If your mom is like mine it's always,
"Oh I don't want anything, need anything, blahdee blah."

So most females love flowers. Any kind really.
If you're like me- you don't really want to break out your wallet
to buy an arrangement for $50 +

I'm not "cheap" and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my mom. But when you're a college kid $60 on flowers is a lot.

Well ladies and gentlemen. I am here to help you out!

don't break the bank. but still make mom smile )

OVER A MONTH! *EYEBALLS DROP OUT* (Full view this entry please)

Okay guys-
WOW where did April go?

Well a few announcements.
1. My boyfriend proposed to me this weekend *eek girly screams* haha. We have been together almost five years now.
2. I am leaving for Korea in TWO WEEKS! *more screams* So excited.
3. I graduate college. Woot woot.

Well I just wanted to post some of my recent photos. :)

This is an example of street photography. This little boy was so cute. I had to ask
his dad for permission. I love his expression.

Another street photography. No permission needed.

My Sister's dog Jordan. He's so cute. :)

And last but not least. Isn't nature beautiful? :)

Hope everyone is doing great. I will try to read some blogs this weekend.

Mar. 24th, 2009

here I am.

1. Thank you for kind words everyone.
2. Sorry I fall off the face of the earth all the fricken time.

This is the last push before I am done with this year of school.
It is so awesome. And on top of that I get to go to Korea.
^_^

The road was rough for a little bit.
But I am getting back on my feet- minus that fact I'm laying down right now
because I am sick. Yuck. I haven't been sick in a really long time.
But at least I was able to enjoy spring break healthy.

I went down to the twin cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul)
With a friend to visit a high school friend that goes to MCAD.
We went to see Les Claypool, Devochka, Secret Cheifs 3, and another band.... their name escapes me.
SECOND ROW BABY!

BUT DEVOTCHKA. I am so in love <3
:) For those of you who might know their music, but not recognize the name-
they are the band responsible for the majoirty of the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack :)

How it ends- by Devotchka
Tom Hagerman is my HERO. (The violinist- he also plays accordian.)
But I'm a violinist and watching him was amazing.

To see it full just click my entry.

Well loves
Hope you are at least healthy.

So typical of me. :(

Anyway! Hopefully I will be able to get those other treats done and take pictures.
I just don't have a lot of time lately... actually ever.

I watched the Kite Runner this weekend.
Agh. HEARTBREAKING.

Sorry this is short and not really interesting. Hope you all are surviving the week.
REMEMBER! Tomorrow is Wednesday! Hooray!
